Say what you will about chick ball, this team is fun to watch with Garrison and Roberson.

Only 3 upperclassmen and your two best players are sophomores. Future is looking good for the basketball programs at MSU

Lady Bears complete season sweep of Creighton with the win tonight
I can just see it happening. Triple Crown winner with .320+ AVG, 40+ HR, 110+ RBI and leader in almost all major batting categories but doesn't win MVP and misses playoffs.

Agreed, they are fun to watch and are beating teams that have a lot of upperclassmen.

Funny how some complain about chick ball but there is one area in particular that they are better than most mens teams... FREE THROWS!

I think the men's team could learn from the Lady Bears s far as free throws.I mean,I was watching the game last night and they said that in the lineup our worst free throw shooter was like 78%.That's fantastic!

I can't stand watching girls bball. I do have to admit that I caught a few minutes last night on Fox Sports. I had to laugh because the big girl in the middle for the Lady Bears got down the court faster than our bigs. Not good for the men!

Down 15 at the half, Lady Bears come back to beat Drake by 9

Garrison 25 points, 8 rebounds, and 5 assist

    Roberson had 20, 3, and 3

Good for the Lady Bears, went to the game Friday for my wife, and it was a good time.

As far as free throws, the ball being about half the size really helps with shooting. They practice it rather than dunking as well. I swear they shoot free throws way better than layups though.

Actually the ball is 1 inch smaller in diameter not half size.

The Men's and Women's team shoots the exact same free-throw percentage this year, believe it or not. Free Throw Percentage is one of the only statistics that has been consistent in both games for the entire history of the game.

They'll also wear them at home this weekend. Can't remember if its Friday or Sunday, though. Not very aesthetically pleasing, with the pink and maroon clashing.

Yeah, wish they had white lettering, but oh well at least they got them!

    It's Sunday, btw.

Casey Garrison registered her 1,000th career point in just her 57th game played, becoming the second-fastest player to reach the 1,000-point mark in Missouri Valley Conference history, trailing only NCAA Division I scoring leader and fellow Lady Bear Jackie Stiles.
